• Consult and collaborate with contractors, production teams, and other involved parties on all health and safety matters.

• Ensure the safe use and maintenance of equipment throughout the production process.

• Implement appropriate handling and use of substances when necessary.

• Provide information, instruction, and supervision for crew members and all individuals involved in the production.

• Prevent accidents and work-related ill health through proactive risk management.

• Maintain safe and healthy working conditions for all personnel.

LEGAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, employers, employees, and the self-employed have a duty to ensure, as far as reasonably practicable, the safety of those involved in work activities and anyone who may be affected by them.

Additionally, the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1992 requires all employers and self-employed individuals to assess risks associated with work activities. This assessment is crucial for identifying necessary safety measures to comply with health and safety legislation—eliminating risks where possible and effectively managing those that remain.
